MISSING MAN MYSTERY
DISAPPEARANCE AT NELSON Press Association. BLENHEIM, Thursday. The disappearance of Mr. David Jones, a resident of Canvastown, while on a visit to Nelson, is puzzling h J? friends and relatives, and also the police to whom the case has been reported. Mr. Jones, who is a single mao, about 50 years old, left Canvastown about a fortnight ago with his sister, Miss C. Jones, to visit relatives in Nelson. He went to Mrs. R. Murrays house at Britannia Heights, and it was from there that he disappeared so suddenly 7 and mysteriously. Search parties have been working from Nelson, where the police are directing operations, but so far no results have attended their efforts. A trace of the missing man one a* l last week is reported from Canta 8 ' town. Some workmen on the **V a J ngamoa Hill met Mr. Jones wandering about, and gave him food. Since the; nothing has been heard of him.
