ROTORUA BOWLERS’ ANNUAL MEETING
At the annual meeting of the Kotorua Bowling Club last night, Mr. C. H. Tapper presided over a good attendance.
The report for the year showed that the membership had increased by two, and that the club was the largest in the South Auckland centre, with a membership of 129. During the past year a new storey had been added to the pavilion. The attention of members was drawn to the new Dominion rule regarding stamping bowls. The report and balance sheet were adopted. The financial position of the club is sound. After meeting the expenses of furnishing the pavilion and of the entertainment of the New South Wales bowlers, tho club has a bank balance of £56 The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. A. V. Merriman: vice-presi-dents, Messrs. A. H. Foggin and R. A. Gardner: committee. Messrs. G. Bar ber' A T. Butt, E. Dawson, A. IV. Downer. A. French. A. Hesketh M Manson, C. R. Tapper and J. W. Webber; secretary, Mr. W. W. P. Hall, treasurer Mr. R. B. Nesbitt; auditor, Mr J H. Buddie. Messrs. Tapper, Nesbitt and Hall were appointed delegates to the centre.
