TAURANGA TOURNAMENT
TAURANGA, Thursday. The final rounds for the Butler Cup were played yesterday and resulted in the True Blues defeating the Hovers by one goal to nil, and the United team drawing with the Kiwis. The cup was won by the True Blues with five points. The matches for the silver buttons between the ladies’ teams resulted as follow:—School, nil, v. Hinemoas, nil; Aretas, 3 t v. Mount, nil; School, 2, v. Mount, 1; Aretas, 1, v. Triers, nil; Triers, 1, v. llinemoas, nil; Aretas, 4, v. School, 1. The Aretas and the Triers both gained six points and will play off next Wednesday.
