LABOUR LEGISLATION

AMENDMENT BILL SOON (THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. “It is not an easy job to please everybody in these labour problems, and I do not think the man who tries to please everyone will ever get anywhere.” This is the wisdom of the Hon. G. J. Anderson, Minister of Labour, who says that the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Bill wLll probably make its appearance in a week or so. He is to place his recommendation on this thorny subject before Cabinet on Saturday, and the House should see the measure soon.
