Ninth Day of the Competitions
CHAMPION PIANIST fIRST CONCERT THIS EVENING A well varied programme or vocal, instrumental, elocutionary and dancing numbers at the evening session last evening concluded the ninth day of the Auckland Competitions. One of the principal features of the day’s work was the champion pianist recital, which was won by Mr. Eric Bell. A restricted piano solo, over 18. was also played and was won by Mr. Eric Maxwell.
