BANK OF N.Z. SELLING SUGARS FIRM The general tone of the mark A is good and many transactions are being recorded. Bank of New Zealand shares are steady and selling freely at 5Ss 3d, while a healthy demand exists for most of the other bank stocks. In the insurance section New Zealand and South British are in good demand. Considerable business has been done in New Zealand Guarantee Corporation shares, and Auckland Gas shares have found buyers at 22s 6d. The mining market is very dull, with an easing tendency, with the exception of Waihis, which are firm at 19s 6d.
