AUSTRALIAN FLIER
GILES BACK IN DETROIT NEW YORK, Monday. The Australian airman, Captain F. A. Giles, who returned to Detroit after being forced down on his flight to Chicago, on August 16, hopes to hop off for San Francisco again on Thursday. He will first have repairs to the petrol feed of his engine effected. Captain Giles proposes to attempt to fly to Australia. —A. and N.Z.
