MEETING OF EXECUTIVE AUCKLAND REPRESENTATIVES At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Football Association held last evening, it was proposed, owing to the defeat of Thistle last Saturday, that the North Shore and Navy Depot. clubs should play a championship match next Saturday. One provincial representative player from each team w-ill be absent. It was decided to advise the North Auckland Association that the match arranged for September 10 could not be played as the New- Zealand Council required that date for the North Island final of the Chatham Cup. The Referees’ Association submitted the following names for the approval of the New Zealand Council, in regard to controlling the schoolboys’ test match on Saturday:—Messrs. Jennings, A. Parkinson and Parfitt. A number of the Auckland representative team which are to leave on their tour for the South this evening, attended the meeting and were wished a pleasant and victorious tour by the members of the Auckland Football Association.
