PRIMARY SCHOOLS RUGBY COMPETITION

A party of 60 representative schoolboy Rugby players will journey lo Hamilton by the Thames express tomorrow morning to take part in the competition for the Northern nolle r Mills Shield. The competition, whicli has been played in Auckland during the last two years, is open to representative schoolboy teams throughout the province, and keen rivalry exists between the various districts. Thames Valley Public Schools’ Union, which annexed the trophy last year, is sending a very strong combination to Hamilton to defend the shield. In addition to the three Auckland teams, other aspirants to the trophy are King Country, South Auckland, Waikato and Cambridge.
