TIVOLI AND EVERYBODY’S
“HEY! HEY! BOY” Hoot Gibson’s latest effort, “Hey! Hey! Boy!” a Universal Jewel, now being shown at the Tivoli and Everybody’s Theatres, affords another opportunity for this humorist on horseback to coax laughs from the most blase movie-goer. The picture is an hilarious comedy-drama, presenting Western farce and action at its best, directed by Lynn Reynolds from an original story by himself. The story revolves around a feud between neighbouring cattle kings. Hoot Gibson,"" as a cowboy detective, disguised as a knight of the open road, appears on the scene for the purpose of solving a number of mysterious happenings, which have brought about a state of open warfare between two erstwhile friendly neighbours. In his blundering, innocent way he finds himself in hot water from the moment he appears on the scene. The supporting cast is composed of character actors who have been featured in other Hoot Gibson Westerns. Prominent among them are Kathleen Key, who plays the leading feminine role; Clarke Comstock, who has played many villain parts; Wheeler Oakman, Monte Montague, Jim Corey, Nick Cogley, Milla Davenport, and others
