“BEHAVED LIKE A BLACKGUARD”
PROBATION IGNORED YOUNG MAN GAOLED '‘YCf'VE behaved like a blackguard!” With these words from the magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, William Robert Curson, aged 25, left the dock at the Police Court to-day to serve a month's imprisonment. Curson appeared for sentence on charges of drunkenness, breach of prohibition order, and failure to comply with the terms of his release on probation. . , “I’ve heard how he has behaved on probation,” said Air. Hunt. “He s behaved like a blackguard.” “It’s no use fining him. because a woman would pay, and that would be no punishment for him.
