Capitalist War on Soviet-Russia
TOM MANN’S PREDICTION LABOUR MINORITY CONFERENCE By Cable.-—Prears Association.—Copyright LONDON, Sunday. The National Minority Movement of the Labour Party is holding its annual conference at Battersea, there being 698 delegates present, including many women. The platform is draped with crimson flags bearing Chinese and Russian inscriptions. Mr. Tom Mann, presiding, declared that another world war is being prepared for, and that Great Britain definitely and systematically is aiming at securing the largest possible number of naval bases and airdromes with a view to making a dead set against the Soviet. Capitalist Imperialist forces were using the border States to prepare for an onslaught upon Russia. It was the duty of the movement to render such a war impossible. The meeting carried a resolution denouncing the execution of Sacco and Vanzetti as one of capitalism’s most hideous crimes. They were executed only because they challenged Capitalist society. Members stood for a minute to mark sympathy with their dead comrades.—A. and N.Z.
