AKARANA PRIZE NIGHT
BIG LIST OF TROPHIES The Akarana Yacht Club will hold its annual prize night in the Masonic Hall, Belgium Street to-morrow evening, when the president, Mr. W. R. Ingram, will present the trophies won last season. Following is the prize list: Class A and B Rang!—One first and one second. Nga-Toa and Ladye Wilma—One first each. Victory—Two seconds. Prize—One third. Class C and E Wairiki —Eliot Davis Cup. Delville—Two firsts. Alexa —One first and two seconds. Mahoe. —One first and one second. Naiad and Maybelle—One second each. Class H, L and N Winifred—Captain White Cup, won outright, two firsts and one second. Lucille—Two firsts. Esina, Starlight and Ngaru ll.—One first each. Spray.—One first and one third. Huia and Waitere II. —Two seconds each. Rakoa—One second and two thirds. Venus—One second. Forest Gold—Two thirds. Class M, V and S Atangatai—lle-O-Lin Cup and three seconds. Matarere—Two firsts and one third. Drone and Wild Wave—Two firsts and one second each. Namu—Two firsts. Manene—One first and three seconds. Mawhiti and Mystic—-One first and one second each. Lancia—One first, one second and one third. Sea Sleigh—One first. Surprise—One second and one third. Muru—One second. Rio—One third. Class T, X and Y
Cupid—Wilkinson Cup (won outright), two firsts and one second. Marie —Two firsts and one third. Nyria—Two firsts. Alerte—One first, two seconds and two thirds. Rona—One first and one third. Jupiter, Sea Breeze, Eleanor and Resolute —One first each. Sea Gnome—Three seconds. Kismet—One second and one third. Ngaio and Joan—One second each. Class O Aurora—Special prize. LAUNCH ES Kirita —Two firsts and one second. Kowhai and Kathryn—One first each. Lady Margaret—One second. SPECIAL PRIZES Brett Cup, for Star Class (points only) —Ola IV., five firsts out of six starts. Champion Flag, for boat crossing- finishing line first, most number of times — Namu (4 points). Points Flag, for boat gaining most points during season—Winifred, Manene, Wild Wave, all equal, 20i points. Booby Cup—For boat gaining least points, won by Mollie, 3 points. Each of the above boats started and finished in the four races counting for these trophies. Other boats have higher and lower averages, but have either started or finished fewer times.
