FIRE AT MARTON
MUSIC SHOP DAMAGED Press Association. MARTON, Monday. At 4 a.m. to-day a fire was discovered in the premises of the Marton Music Service. The brigade arrived in time to quell the flames, and only a small portion of the building was severely damaged. The stock of records and gramophones suffered from tire and water. 'The flames burned through a partition into a hairdresser’s saloon and did slight damage. The premises are part of a hotel building, the bedrooms being above the shops, but separated from them by a fireproof ceiling.
