LATE MR. JOHN A. ENDEAN
Mr. John Albert Endean, of Auckland, died on Saturday at the age of Born at Thames and educated at the old Church of England Grammar School, Mr. Endean practised as a chemist in this city, later acquiring the Waitemata Hotel, which he controlled until his death. In commercial undertakings he had wide interests and was well known as a keen supporter of all kinds of sport. He was a lieutenant in the old Auckland Naval Volunteers. For a number of years he had been in failing health. Mr. Endean is survived by a wife and five daughters. The funeral left Panmure this afternoon for Purewa cemetery.
