Appointment to Cabinet Yet

IDLE SPECULATION FIVE KEEN ASPIRANTS (THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, To-day. A LL prophecies and conjecture about the appointment of a Ministerial successor to the late Mr. Bollard may be dismissed as idle speculation. A selection will not be made for some time to come, and it is doubtfpl if it will be made at all during this Parliamentary session. This, in view of the fact that at least five Reformers are aspirants for the portfolio of Interna] Affairs, each more than convinced at heart he deserves to be remembered and rewarded on this occasion, will enable the Government to enjoy brisk service from them all, while at the same time allaying jealousy in the ranks of the Reform Party.
