LIBRARY LECTURES
GRAFTON “An Evening with Charles Dickens,” arranged by th eDickens Fellowship (Auckland Branch), will be given in the Grafton Library Hall to-morrow night, August 30. The programme will comprise addresses by the Rev. A. B. Chappell, M.A., president, on “Dickens the Craftsman,” and Mrs. Kenneth Gordon on “Dickens and Social Ills,” interspersed with readings and character sketches the great writer’s works by members of the fellowship.
