SENATOR GOFF LIKES THE SUN
IUOT only does United [ States Senator Goff like ' New Zealanders, but he likes THE SUN. The Senator, who leaves j for America by the Aorangi to-morrow, declared when paying a visit to our plant | to-day that THE SUN was his favourite New Zealand newspaper. “Thoroughly modern and up to the mark,” he said, “and there is a snappiness about THE SUN which makes it as bright as its proverbial rays! I like it.” Senator Goff ought to know something about newspapers, as Mrs. Goff is the daughter of one of America’s j best-known newspapermen.
