CROWDED TRAINS
A HOLIDAY RUSH STUDENTS AND RUGBY FANf enthusiasts, students A and school children on holiday, filled the trains arriving and departing from Auckland last evening and this morning. The Limited from Wellington v.. crowded. Many visitors for tin Hawke’s Bay-Auckland match join' < the train en route, though it was . capacity train leaving Wellington J. evening. The first express carried many mor passengers than usual. The morning train fo; Wining; • carried many holiday-makers, nnd i; 10.30 train for Rotorua had very 1Y empty seats. Last evening the Limited left : - Wellington with every seat occupied and six extra carriages had to be pul on the second express to cope with the large number of passengers, who included many children and student*.
