Ports of Auckland

COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Kurow, which left Lyttelton at 4.30 p.m. yesterday for Auckland direct, arrives here on Monday, and, after discharge, loads at Auckland and sails next Thursday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The Waimea arrives here to-morrow from Napier and sails next Tuesday on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier. The Waipori from Greymouth leaves Westport to-day for Napier and Auckland, and is expected here about Thursday next. The Kaimanawa is to load at Westport about Thursday next for Auckland, and should arrive here on September 5. The Kamona, from Greymouth via Tauranga, arrived at Auckland this morning and, after discharge, undergoes her annual overhaul and survey here. The Katoa is now to leave Auckland at 5 p.m. on Monday for Wellington, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. The Mako, arriving to-morrow morning from the coast via Portland, sails again at noon on Tuesday for Cape Runaway, Hicks Bay, Te Araroa, Port Awaiui, Napier, Lottin Point and Wairoa. The Awahou arrives from the coast tomorrow, and sails again at 5 p.m. on Tuesday for Tokomaru Bay, Tolago Bay and Gisborne. The naval minesweeper, H.M.S. Wakakura, sailed last evening for the Hauraki Gulf with another batch of R.N.V.R. men. The Paroto was to sail at noon today for Awanui and Waipapakauri. The Apanui, sailing at midnight tomorrow night for Mercury Bay, Tairua and Whangamata, returns again at 4 a.m. on Wednesday. The Waipu, arriving from Kerepeehi at 1 p.m. to-day, sails again at 6 p.m. on Monday on the return trip. The Matangi, arriving from Tauranga at 7 a.m. to-morrow, sails again at 7 p.m. on Monday on the return trip.
