LIBRARY LECTURES

GRAFTON “\n Evening with Charles Dickens," arranged by the Dickens’ Fellowship (Auckland Branch) will be given in the Grafton Library Hall on Tuesday, August 30. The programme will comprise addresses by the Rev. A. B. Chappell, M.A., president, on “Dickens the Craftsman,” and Mrs. Kennth Gordon on “Dickens and Social Ills," interspersed with readings and character sketches from the great writer’s works by members of the fellowship.
