ARABIAN GALA NIGHT
DIXIELAND ON WEDNESDAY A grand Arabian gala night under the auspices of the Auckland Women’s Zionist Society will be held at Dixieland on Wednesday, September# 7, in aid of the Auckland Ladies’ Benevolent Society. A previous ball held by the Women’s Zionist Society in aid of the Rev. Jasper Calder's mission was a great success. The band at the forthcoming gala will be dressed in costume, and there will also be cabaret items by the pentiee Trio. The gaiety of the evening will be further enhanced by novel lighting effects.
