PRINCESS
COMEDY WEEK “The Cheerful Fraud,” Reginald Denny's latest Universal starring picture, which is now showing at the Princess theatre, is proving to be one of the most popular pictures of the season. It is based on the novel by K. R. G. Browne and was directed by "William A. Seiter, who has made all of the star’s recent successes. Denny is surrounded by a great supporting cast, including Gertrude Olmstead, Otis Harlan, Gertrude Astor, Emily Fitzroy, Charles Gerrard and others. It takes about 70 minutes to show the latest Christie farce comedy, “Seven Days,” on the screen. This film, which is also being shown at the Princess Theatre, was made from the stage success by Mar}’ Roberts Rinehart and Avery Hopwood. The plot is one in which anything can happen and most everything does. In the 70 minutes are packed the hilarious happenings of seven days when a party of folks is quarantined in a house by a smallpox scare. The cast is headed by Lillian Rich and Creighton Hale. Scott Sidney, who directed “Charley’s Aunt,” directs this piece.
