FAREWELL TO PARISH
RESIGNATION OF MINISTER The Rev. J. D. McKenzie, who is giving up the active ministry, was the guest of honour last evening of the congregation of Edendale Presbyterian Church, where he has been minister for five years. A very large attendance paid a tribute to the work of Mr. and Airs. McKenzie for the parish. The session clerk, Mr. W. Lambert, on behalf of the congregation, handed Mr. McKenzie a cheque, and referred to the progress the parish had made under his guidance. Mr. McKenzie replied, thanking the people for their gift and support. The Presbyterian Church, he said, was a great vital institution in the community.
