CAMBRIDGE MOTORISTS
BETTER ROAD PROSPECTS (From Our Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, To-day. The annual meeting of the Cambridge branch of the Auckland Automobile Association was held last night, Mr. C. H. Priestley presiding over a large gathering. The following were elected an advisory committee: Messrs. C. H. Priestley, A. W. Gane, Frank Penn, R. Fisher, G. G. L. Taylor, J. W. Garland, K. Wilkinson, W. J. Ward, W. J. Smellie. Several new members were elected. Replying to a question, Mr. Champtaloup, service officer, stated he believed the road through the Mamaku Bush to Rotorua would be completely metalled during the summer, and this winter would be the last under which motorists would have to face the present fearful conditions.
