PREPARING FOR SEASON WAITEMATA CLUB’S MEETING There was an excellent attendance at the annual meeting - of the Waitemata Boating Club, last night, when Mr. W. Denison presided. The club discussed eight-oar racing, and decided to agitate for freer use of the eight-oar boats. Congratulations were extended by Mr. W. Reston, chairman of the Auckland Rowing Association, to W. A. Stevenson and the Waitemata senior four which have been invited to Melbourne. The following officers were elected: Commodore, Hon. George Fowlds; vice-commodore, Mr. C. J. Ellerbeck:
