OWNERS FINED
Radio "fans” who failed to renew their licences were penalised by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court to-day. The following were fined £3, with costs:—A. W. Bull, T. N. C. Hill, A. G. Sutherland and W. C. White. A. Burcher and J. A. Grinter were each fined £l.
Footballers* Concert.—The programme for the annual concert of the Point Chevalier League Football Club was provided by Jackson’s entertainers last night, and with Mr. Ernie Jackson as stage manager there was no hitch, and the items on a long and varied programme followed in quick succession.
