ADVICE TO YACHTSMEN “'T'RUST in the board and it will A S ee the club through,” was the keynote of Mr. Ernest Davis’s advice to the Victoria Cruising Club with regard to the eviction from the Beaumont Street haul-ing-out sites. In his address as patron, to the annual meeting last evening he counselled the club not to worry. "When the reasons for the Harbour Board's action are made public the members will see that the board had no other option,” said Mr. Davis. The board would assuredly provide a site equal in size and convenience to the present site. The club would probably hold the present site until the end of next season and would have to take the change philosophically and make provision for it in the next financial year. The proposed new site was at the foot of New Street. “I would again stress that the club would be well advised to leave it to the board which I am sure will treat us fairly and well.” concluded Mr. Davis,
