WILSONS CEMENTS IMPROVE COALS FIRM Business on the ’Change is quiet, though there is still a healthy inquiry tor the better classes of securities. Timbers are steady, with buyers of Kauris withdrawn and sellers asking 25s 9d. Bartholomews are not quoted. In coals, HikurangiSfc continue to feature and the ordinary shares are reported at 3s 4d. Sellers of W aipas came on the market at the mid*day call at 15s 6d. Pukemiros are sought by steady buyers at £2. In the miscellaneous section Wilsons Cements have improved to see buyers in at 34s 6d and no sellers. Mining continues dejmessed and mostly idle.
