The Hon. C. J. Carrington, M.L.C., left tor Wellington by the Limited last evening. Mr. J- B. Thompson left for Wellington last evening. Jenkinson, of the Railway Denartment headquarters, Wellington, arrived by the Limited this morning and is staying at the Star Hotel. Mr Dynes Fulton, of Tuakau, was Yesterday re-elected chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-Operative Dairy Company. Mr A. E. Hefford. chief inspector of fisheries, left yesterday to inspect the Kaipara fishing grounds. He is expected to return to Auckland to-mor-roW. Mr Culford Bell, who is to act as adjudicator of elocution at the Invercargill and Dunedin Competitions, leaves for the South to-night. Mr C. M. Drake and Mr. A. Gerry, of New York, members of the Jasha Heifetz party, are staying at the Grand Hotel. _ Mr J. R. Robertson, a member of Mount Roskill Road Board, who, a fortnight ago, had an urgent call to Sydney, where his daughter was prostrated by serious illness, is arranging to return to Auckland on Wednesday next. Dr. Carter Goodrich, associate professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin. U.S.A., who is studying labour conditions in New Zealand, is expected to arrive in Rotorua on Friday afternoon.
