COMPLIMENTARY CONCERT

TO MR. WALTER VERNON The Orphans’ and the Savage Clubs made a joint effort last evening in a complimentary concert to the popular Mr. Walter Vernon, and filled the Scots’ Hall with a large audience of supporters. The Orphans’ Orchestra contributed the massed music In an overture, and entr’acte. Mr. Walter Vernon contributed to the programme, and other items were given by Misses Florence Sutherland. N. Llngard. and D. Higliam, Walter Brough, E. Wheatley, F. <». Mason. O. Rees, and J. Stewart. The Snappy Three provided an enjoyable line of popular songs.
