ITALY CHECKS MIGRANTS
FURTHER RESTRICTIONS ENFORCED
By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Monday. The Rome correspondent of the “Times" says that further restrictions upon migration are being enforced from September 1. These include the production by the migrant of a contract from a foreign employer, or reasons for joining relatives, before a passport can be obtained. The purpose is the stimulation of internal migration.—A. and N.Z.
