PLANS FOR PAPATOETOE At last night’s meeting of the Papatoetoe Town Board, the chairman. Mr A. W Hall, recommended that consideration be postponed of any further subdivisions, till a capable man had been appointed to draw up a plan of ! the district, advising re the subdivision of the whole area under the board’s jurisdiction. In support of this recommendation. he said that instead of the board blundering along and later having to form connecting roads, it would be cheaper for the ratepayers to be prepared. After a full discussion it was decided that a special committee, consisting of Messrs. A. W. Hall E. Sorensen and J. Franklin be appointed to consider the cost of a suitable appointment, and also to make a recommendation to the board. | Mr. Arthur Rose, of Christchurch !
