ST. GEORGE LEAGUE TEAM FOR N.Z.?

(From Our Sydney Correspondent.) SYDNEY, August 18. The decision as to whether the St. George or any other club team of the Rugby League in New South Wales shall visit New Zealand, will be made on Monday night next, when all clubs will report regarding the proposed tour. It is considered most likely that St. George will make the trip, particularly as practically all the team will be free to go. St. George is a good side, very strong in forwards. The team now stands second in the premiership competition, being only one point behind South Sydney. The team is now in the hands of the leading international forward, Frank Burge, who is paid a special fee to be playing coach for this season. The results of this training is to be seen in the fact that three members of the team played for New South Wales this season. These were Justice, a hooker, Kelly, lock forward, and Brain, wing threequarter. St. George has shown consistent form all the season, and no better ciub team could be selected to tour New Zealand. Since all the players are free to go, it is merely a matter of arranging the terms to complete matters.
