The Berlin correspondent of "The Times” says the “Borsen-Courier cites the offer of an investigation into the deportation of Belgians in the war period as a hopeful contrast to the war memorial which is to be unveiled at Dinant on Tuesday. This memorial depicts German soldiers aiming rifles at Belgian women and children. It is insisted by the paper that Germanv has no reason to shrink from the Inquiry, which it is hoped will be extended to other questions. —Times.
