HINTS BY "HEADLIGHT’

A 1920 Buick Six, soon after purchase, had a peculiar noise in the clutch. It sounded as though metal was rubbing. Neither did the noise get any worse, nor did it ever sound very loud. Since the car had been thoroughly greased every 500 miles, the owner decided to have an investigation made. This, of course, was clutch trouble. The transmission and clutch were removed. The clutch bearing was found to be nearly dry. The oil-way from the grease cup pipe was not large enough to allow plenty of grease to go through to the bearing. The oil-way was made larger, and upon being reassembled the car gave no further clutch trouble. CHEAPER BENZINE New Price to All Comers.
