(From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, To-day. IUAIKATO cricketers may this season have the services of a professional coach. It is possible that a young English player, who intends spending the coming summer in New Zealand, will be available at a moderate figure. rr ~lt rjk ?r. 7r rr ve ’Quake at Christchurch. —Just after 4 a.m. on Sunday morning Christchurch people were awakened by a sharp earthquake shock, lasting 20 seconds. As far as is known no damage was done. At Lyttelton the shock caused window’s, doors, and crockery to rattle. At Rangiora the ’quake was preceded by a roar, and came with a sudden jerk.
