BASKETBALL
MANY MATCHES POSTPONED The games to have been played at the Normal School grounds on Saturday under the auspices of the Auckland Basketball Association were postponed, with the exception of those of the senior grade. The outside grounds were too wet to allow play, the single ground inside the drill hall alone being used. All games postponed will be played next Saturday. The following are the results of the senior matches played:— Victoria 18, Seddon 17; Edendale drew with Grammar, 24 all; University 56, Waratah 20; Y.W.C.A. 35, Seddon 20; Waratah 22, University B 4: University A 32, Edendale 28; Y.W.C.A. 30, Grammar WELLINGTON MATCH A senior match played at Wellington resulted in a win for Wellington representatives from Gilby’s by 27 points to 10.
