DOG CAUSES SMASH
TRUCK STRIKES POLE A PASSENGER INJURED A dog was the cause of a smash outtide the Mount Albert Fire Brigade Station this afternoon. As a motor-truck belonging- to A. J. Small was passing the station a dog -an across the road. In avoiding it the truck swerved and struck a telephone pole with considerable force. A passenger on the truck, Mr, L. Gunning, received a nasty bruise in the tack, but he was not seriously injured. The truck was loaded with furniure. The force of the impact damaged he front of the truck, which ended up with a wheel on either side of the telephone pole.
