WIN FOR TREASURY Government taxation amounted to no less than £7,675 19s 2d. The report, emphasises the crying need of racing clubs for some relief from the presen. high taxation. General improvements to the course and grounds have been carried out during the year, and the road through Mr. ReilTyS: property has been completed. giving access to the course from Frankton. Messrs. G. W. VerccK and F. R. Seddon being the only nominees for the offices of president and vice-president respectively, are returned unopposed. For the six vacancies on the comimttee there will be no election, Messrs. Wynn Brown. T. Clarkin, T. Dillon, A. Miller, J. (:. Potts and H. W. Wilson being reelected unopposed.
