MUNICIPAL BAND
CONCERT AT THE ZOO A tuneful and interesting musical programme will be given by the Auckland Municipal Band at the Zoological Park to-morrow, Sunday, afternoon. Sousa’s charming suite, “At the King’s Court.” selections, ‘The Maid of the Mountains” and “Operas of Offenbach,” are included, together with bright marches, hymn tunes and other fine numbers. In “The Joy Girl” Olive Borden dances a tango which accentuates even further the charming grace of this Fox player. * * * “Married Alive,” showing the strange effects of matrimony on a man who had the marrying habit, will soon be released by Fox. The cast includes Matt Moore, Margaret Livingston -ni Lou Tellegen. Besides taking on three professional boxers. George O’Brien has battled 107 rounds, counting retakes, for the tight sequences in the Fox attraction “Is Zat So?” His opponents were Jimmy Dime. Jack Herrick and Larrv Williams.
