BEAUTY FINALISTS IN CHRISTCHURCH (Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. In the voting which will decide who is to have the title of "Miss New Zealand,” Christchurch continues to show preference for Miss Leon McCall (Miss Canterbury). Miss Hazel Spiers (Miss Wellington) has gained one place on the aggregate list: First: Miss Dale Austen ("Miss Otago"). Second: Miss Vera Hodge (Maid of Honour to "Miss Otago"). Third: Miss Leon McCall (“Miss Canterbury”). Fourth: Miss Hazel Spiers ("Miss Wellington"). Fifth: Miss Morgie Cameron (Maid °' Honour to "Miss Southland”).
