A SOCIAL EVENING Another delightful little social was held by the Dunedin Club last evening, when a number of members and their friends were present, and spent a cheery interval in dancing and cardplaying. Mrs. K. Raymond acted as hostess, wearing a charming gown of black and gold brocade and black crepe satin, with a shawl of gold metal cloth. Flag bridge was played during the evening, the winners being Mrs. Cordon Lennox and Mrs. E. C. Johnston and Mr. Sherriff. Among those present were: Mrs. C. Dickinson, crystal beaded frock of geranium red georgette. Mrs. Wright, frock of pansy mauve velvet and crepe de chine. Mrs. Tregear, silver and black gown of tissue and georgette. Mrs. J Murdoch, frock of primrose georgette. Mrs. J. Oliver, cyclamen georgette and silver lace frock. . Mrs. W. fcT.. Faulkiner, black georgette frock, with touches of apple green. Mrs. R. Lowry, black crepe faille frock, with rose embroidered panels. Mrs. X. Hay, frock of deep wine velvet, with fur trimming. Airs. Dodd, beaded frock of black georgette. Mrs. Deare, royal blue frock of satin Airs. Barber, frock of cerise georgette. Airs. Wilmot, Pompeian red frock of georgette, embossed in grey chenille. Airs. Havelock Green, black sequined frock. Airs. Collins, gold and black brocaded gown. ALrs. Jones, frock of ruby red and gold embossed lace. Airs. Farquhar, steel beaded frock and red cloak. Airs. Maguire, black frock of georgette and lace.
