EXPRESS DELAYED

TABLET MISHAP The Main Trunk express which departs from Auckland at 7.10 p.m. had an unofficial stop at Papatoetoe station last evening, when the tablet-receiver on the engine failed to pick up the tablet. A search was at once instituted, and the clerk recovered the missing tablet about 75 yards down the track, and the express resumed its journey after a delay of six minutes. The tablet standard and arm had been examined earlier in the day, and no reason could be given for the mishap.
