GREYHOUND RACING
PROPOSAL FOR WEMBLEY By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyriyh* LONDON, Wednesday. The hugh success of greyhound racing in London and in the provinces has resulted in a plan to make Wembley the world’s greatest centre of that sport. A company has been formed under the leadership of Lieutenant-Colonel-Charles Darley Miller, manager director of the Roehampton Club. The capital is £250,000, the subscription of which is to be offered to the public on August 29. The company has bought the Stadium aad the surrounding land at
