The World Conference on Faith and Order discussed the questions of the unity of Christendom and the relation of the Churches to each other. Archbishop Soderblom recommended the Churches to aim at unity in multiplicity. He said the Swedish Church had a constitutional episcopate. The Bishop of Gloucester, Dr. A. C. Headlam, gave a comprehensive and incisive conception of a united church, and pleaded the importance of Christian unity. The conference has now gone into committee to discuss the final reports on the Ministry of the Church, the Sacraments, the Unity of Christendom | and the Relation of the Churches. — [ A. and N.Z.
