A YEAR OF PROGRESS An organisation second to none In the Presbytery was how the Rev. F. B. Barton, Aloderator of the Auckland Presbytery, referred to the Presbyterian Sunday School Teachers’ Association, at that body’s fourth annual meeting on Monday night. The secretary. Mrs. W. McDonald, presented an eucouraging report, which showed that there were 79 schools. 598 teachers and 5,658 scholars in the Presbytery. The rapid growth of the suburbs had made the development of the branch schools, of which there were nine, a marked feature of the year’s progress. The balance sheet showed a credit of £5. Officers were elected as follows: President, Air. E. T. O. Downard: vice-presidents, Messrs. J. W. Rvburn and E. Burch; secretary, Airs. W. AlcDonald; treasurer. Miss Scarborough. An address on "The Moslem Women of India” was given by Miss N. Rawn. of the Punjab.
