Struck in Face by Sling. —While unloading a scow on Bayswater Wharf recently, Mr. L. P. Knock, aged 27, of 5 Dedwood Terrace. Ponsonby. a labourer employed by Messrs. J. J. Craig. Ltd., was struck in the face by a sling of scoria. He was attended to medically and yesterday was taken to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is not serious.
