MANUREWA TOWN BOARD

THE DUMP PROBLEM The Manurewa Town Board decided last night to support the movement for the preservation of Hobson Bay. Bus drivers are to be prevented from stopping within 20 feet of the post office corner. The refusal of the Health Department to allow the use of a refuse dump at Takanini was discussed, and the chairman pointed out that if the grounds were sufficient to prohibit the dump at Takanini. it seemed impossible to place it anywhere as there was no room in the town district.
