CHRISTENING THAMES’S NEW RUGBY GROUND

(Special to THE SUN.) THAMES, To-day. The Thames Rugby Union last evening unanimously decided to call the new football ground recently acquired at Parawai. “Rhodes Park,” in honour of Mr. Reg. M. Rhodes, chairman of the Rugby Union, who was greatly instrumental in effecting the purchase of the ground as well as being the leader in the parties effecting improvements.
